Listen to The Penalty Box Saturday and Sunday at 9am to get break downs of all the first round games.  Cornell's Coach Tambroni speaks to the guys about his match up this weekend against Loyola.  P.T. Ricci calls in to give us his picks and talks about the Bayhawks season opener against the Lizards.  Jared gets redemption on the bracket wager.  Be sure to tune in to hear about all the lacrosse action taking place this weekend.

Men's NCAA Bracket Set

The NCAA Men's Lacrosse bracket is all set.  Four Maryland based teams made the top 16.  Mount St. Mary's will take on top seeded Virginia May 16th at 7:30pm on ESPNU.  Johns Hopkins University continued it NCAA appearance streak and will travel to Durham to take on #5 Duke on May 15th at Noon on ESPN.  Just up Charles St. the Loyola Greyhounds will travel to #7 Cornell for their match-up on May 15th on ESPNU at 2:30pm.  Last, and certainly not least, #3 Maryland will host Hofstra on May 15th at Noon on ESPNU.  The ACC is boasting four ranked teams with #1 UVA, #3 UMD, #4 UNC and #5 Duke.  Maryland stands alone on their side of the bracket, which will make things interesting as the tournament moves along.  Check out more coverage at Inside Lacrosse.
Bayhawks Strong Goaltending/Defense Mark 2nd Exhibition Game




SEVERNA PARK – Attackman Danny Glading scored three goals while goalkeeper Chris Garrity made eight saves in just over a half of play as the Chesapeake Bayhawks lost a tight battle with the Denver Outlaws, 9-7, in an exhibition game between two of the top teams in Major League Lacrosse.   Read More...
